Not My Arms Challenge – Decorating a Cake

My mom is always baking yummy treats, like cupcakes and other cakes, for me and my brother JJ to enjoy. Not only is she really great at baking cakes, she’s really great at decorating them too. The way her cupcakes look, you’d think they came from a professional bakery and I’m not just saying that because she’s my mom.

After watching all the hard work my mom puts into making all these delicious treats, I decided I wanted to help. So I asked her to teach me how to bake and decorate my very own cake. We started out simple with the baking portion, and things were going great. We kept it simple with white cake mix, and I started thinking that maybe baking wasn’t as hard as I thought it was.

But once the cupcakes cooled, things took a turn for the worse. As soon as the frosting was colored pink, I knew I was in for a challenge. Especially since I didn’t have any control over my arms!
